i just re-watched this ep with my roommate because i’m a masochist, idk, and i literally said about halfway through, “i think they didn’t want to pay for the really good songs, like…they didn’t do ‘billie jean’ or ‘the way you make me feel’ or ‘beat it.’”
and then “ben” happened (WHYYY) and the lyric ben you’re always running here or there/you feel you’re not wanted anywhere and i may have shouted, “because you’re a rat! that’s why you’re not wanted anywhere!” my roommate thinks i’m crazy now, i’m pretty sure.
